Dear CGOA Community,

For many years, CGOA has provided opportunities for people to experience life-enhancing outdoor recreation.  These impactful experiences are more important than ever right now, as all of us navigate the challenges of Covid-19. Participating in digital cooking classes, yoga sessions, game nights, and more have helped keep our community and staff connected. But now we want to start offering safe “in person” activities to keep everybody active as the summer continues, though summer programming will look quite different than what we had planned for in March!
In order to do our part in keeping our community safe this season, CGOA has started a new kind of programming!   Along with continued virtual programming, we will offer “one-on-one” or household opportunities for cycling, canoeing, and hiking starting mid-July. Check our calendar for specific scheduled days!  You can expect a cycling and canoeing day each week, where individuals and households can sign up for 1 or 2 hour time slots with a CGOA staff.  This is an exciting opportunity to focus on individual goal setting with each individual participant.  A symptom check will be required for all and masks are required unless medically unsafe.  Until further notice, these programs will be offered as a way for us to safely recreate and adventure with CGOA!
While we hope to continue to offer more programming throughout the summer and fall, the highest priority at CGOA is the health and safety of our community.  Our programming schedule may change depending on case counts, and guidelines from state, county, and local health officials.
As we continue to ride the waves of change and uncertainty that this pandemic is bringing, we remain extremely committed to providing safe and meaningful outdoor recreation activities, and look forward to exploring a new form of programming with you!

See you out there!
